The "Pass-the-Book-Forward Program" 

Is Love Action Initiative’s Flagship Literacy & Community Service Program

 

Created to empower young children to become compassionate, community-minded leaders through reading, giving, and acts of service.

At the heart of the program is our Free Mini Libraries and our illustrated children’s book series, Life Lessons with Lily, which introduces foundational life values, including kindness, generosity, purpose, gratitude, empathy, and compassion in an age-appropriate and engaging way for children ages 4–7.
 

The initiative is designed not only to support early literacy, but also to give children meaningful opportunities to practice kindness through donations.

 

Through this program, Love Action Initiative:

 

* Publishes, distributes, and donates Life Lessons with Lily books to young children, accompanied by literacy and kindness discussion guides, including printable parent guides, teacher discussion questions, and kindness challenge worksheets.

 

* Establishes Mini Free Libraries and community giving boxes in local neighborhoods, stocked with donated children’s books and select non-perishable food items.

 

* Hosts book drives and community outreach events in partnership with local organizations, pageant communities, schools, nonprofit partners, and social media advocates.

* Facilitates book donations to schools, libraries, hospitals, shelters, and community centers, based on partner needs and requirements.

​

* Engages children in hands-on acts of giving, helping them develop autonomy, empathy, leadership, and a sense of social responsibility from an early age.

 

By combining literacy access with community contribution, the Pass the Book Forward Initiative promotes both early childhood education and compassionate civic engagement, directly supporting our mission to foster kindness through educational programs, charitable initiatives, and community service.

Our Free Mini Libraries:

The idea is to take one book and donate another.

 

If a child doesn't have a book to donate, they can still take a book to enjoy!  

 

We just ask that if the Mini Library Box is down to 3 books, message us to let us know we need to restock it with more.  (Cell and WhatsApp: 1 646-595-6496)

 

Also, we hope to empower the next generation of world changers to make a positive impact. So if someone wants to donate more than one book, it would be a blessing to someone else!
